It’s very nice, high quality!
The V500 is an excellent tool for quickly diagnosing electrical problems, providing voltage readings and ground checks. It simplifies fuse checks, offering more information than a standard test light for faster diagnosis. Furthermore, the V500 provides exceptional value for its price.
This tester can do so much! Used it to easily test the battery voltage on my daughter's Escape. The screen is bright and easy to navigate. I wish I would have had this two months ago when I needed to test a starter. This will be a tool I'll reach for frequently while repairing our cars.
I have spent many years installing car alarms and remote starts. On wayuse this tool is when trying to locate door lock wires, I can verify the wire using the multimeter function and then validate the wire by using the component function sending the signal (+/-) on the same wire to actuate the lock. This can be used on several other circuits like parking light, brake wire, some light, ect. I also like the dark mode feature, it cuts down on the glare and is easier to read. All of the accessories seem to be of good quality. I do like the connector for the power and ground.
This product does everything my Power Probe does plus some. Quality is great, and has a good feel in my hand. It has the ability to test relays by sending power to the coil, and verifying the contacts open, which is pretty handy. Even has a little schematic, (pictured) that visually shows you if the contacts open or not. Also has a built in oscilloscope, and can power motors with a touch of a button. Great for troubleshooting!
